About American Councils Kazakhstan

American Councils has operated in Kazakhstan since 1994. Its main office is located in Almaty, the largest city and business center.

Over the past 30+ years, we have implemented numerous cultural exchange, educational, and professional development programs. Currently, in addition to managing programs like the FLEX Global program for Kazakhstan secondary students, and working with local Kazakhstan host families and schools to host U.S. high school-aged students for an academic year as part of FLEX Global Abroad, American Councils Kazakhstan strengthens English proficiency across the region to support deeper integration, enhance professional collaboration, and expand economic ties with the United States though the C5+O.N.E. (Opening Networks through English) program.

Our current programs provide individuals with opportunities to study, exchange culture, and build skills.
