C5+O.N.E. Program Launches Fifth Cohort, Expanding English for the Economy in Kazakhstan
In the beginning of September, the C5+O.N.E. (Opening Networks through English) Program started classes for the Cohort Five focusing on “English for the Economy” in Kazakhstan. Almost 200 leaders of the government, business, NGOs and media joined the new cohort across three cities: Almaty, Astana, and Pavlodar. Over the course of the nine-month program, participants will take part in both curricular and extracurricular activities, including a national networking event, a national workshop (graduation ceremony), and a regional conference.
These activities are designed to strengthen participants’ English proficiency while supporting regional cooperation and enabling Central Asian professionals to engage more effectively with U.S. counterparts.
The “English for the Economy” Cohort reaffirms C5+O.N.E.’s commitment to promoting regional collaboration and opening new pathways for shared prosperity.
